Attorney Denise LaVerde Sanchez of McLaughlin & Sanchez has the experience necessary to handle a variety of workplace injury claims in San Diego County.

Ms. Sanchez is a California State Bar Certified Legal Specialist in workers’ compensation. Practicing workers’ compensation since 2002, she also has over 12 years of insurance defense experience. She is active in the California workers’ compensation community. Appointed as a Commissioner for the Workers’ Compensation Law Advisory Commission to the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization from 2011-2013, she also served as Vice Chair from 2013-2014 and Chair from 2014-2015. Currently, Ms. Sanchez is a board member of the Workers’ Injury Law & Advocacy Group (WILG).

Admitted to the State Bar of California and U.S. District Court, Central District, Ms. Sanchez received her Juris Doctorate from Southwestern University School of Law in 2000, where she served on Moot Court and as Lead Articles Editor on Law Review. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Southern California in 1993.

Ms. Sanchez handles cases involving workers’ compensation and Social Security Disability (SSDI) claims. She also evaluates and assists in cases involving wage and hour law violations, employment law violations and personal injury claims.
