Case Details
The client contracted silicosis while working for her employer as a dental assistant, mainly assisting in the making of dental molds. There were many hurdles in this case. First was the fact the employer had invalid workers' compensation insurance for their employees. After several years, this issue was resolved and coverage was found. Second, the new workers' compensation carrier initially offered only $25,000 to settle the worker's case. After several more years with lots of hard work by both our office and the injured worker, and the unfortunate usual ups and downs of a claim, the case settled for $1,000,000.
I met Denise Sanchez this past year after my first attorney retired. She came across professional, determined, and to the point, explaining everything to me completely to make sure I understood.
